DRAW THE CIRCLE WIDE Diversity is a core value of the parish community as can be seen in our ministry, worship life and church membership. As an urban parish we welcome people from varied backgrounds, races, sexual orientation and education. “Draw the Circle Wide,” describes our commitment to Christ. |

Worship As A Response To God’s Generosity In response to God’s generosity we celebrate the Sabbath with a spirited worship service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Through fellowship, prayer, a variety of musical styles and selections, we bring our hearts into God’s presence. In the center of the sanctuary is the breath taking stained glass window depicting the women at the tomb as the angle proclaims Jesus' resurrection. Designed by famous artist George Haushalter the window is a testimony to the spirit of Christ's ressurection and hope. The dynamic preaching and heart felt music coupled with the weekly celebration of the Lord’s Supper fill our souls to go out into the world and to better practice our faith. With our Pastor the Reverend Judy Lee Hay, lay people are active leaders in worship service through readings, prayers, music, drama and in serving communion. The whole people of God are invited by Christ to be fed spiritually and to go into the world to be in service.
Psalm 150 resonates with God’s generosity and call to praise God in all of life. 1-6 Hallelujah! Praise God in God's holy house of worship, |

Developing Youth leadership in our congregation is an important value. Youth participate in worship, lead prayers, help in coffee hour and assist in liturgy by bringing up the bread and wine for communion. The older youth assist the younger children as role models. The diversity of our youth reflects the changes within our city that embraces the multiple faces of Chirst.

Teens serve as role models and give guidance to our youngest members.
